There is a great variety of tours in the Krimml Achen Valley waiting for you to come and enjoy.
By virtue of its gentle slopes and harmonious mountain landscape, the Krimml Achen Valley is particularly well suited for exploration by mountain bike.
From Krimml a section leads along the Gerlos Alpine Road as far as the turn-off onto the “Krimml Tauernweg”. If you don’t fancy using your own physical strength to overcome the three falls of the Krimml Waterfalls, then simply make use of our National Park taxi with which you can also easily transport your bike up to the upper falls or right up to the Krimmler Tauernhaus. Waiting for you at the entrance to the Krimml Achen Valley is an awesome mountain panorama and a world full of mountain pastures and luscious meadows, culminating at the Krimml Kees glacier.
The distance to the head of the valley below the peak of the mighty Dreiherren is approx. 20 km. The Krimmler Tauernhaus is situated approx. 6 km before the head of the valley.
